I’ve raised my four children here in Quorn, and The Bean & Bear is quite simply the place I wish had existed when they were little.
I wanted to take the best bits of a beautiful play space for little ones and fuse them with the best bits of a high-end, barista-led coffee and brunch spot for grown-ups.
But more than anything, I wanted to create a place to connect – with friends, family and our community. A space for little ones and big ones, parents and non parents, where everyone feels welcome.

From expertly made classics to iced favourites, our baristas pair quality ingredients with house-made syrups and cold foams to create a truly high-end coffee experience — whether you’re staying in or taking it to go.

We don’t have parking – we are village centre located and like most business we don’t have our own parking but there is parking in the village
Yes! The coffee shop and soft play are separate areas, so you’re always welcome to pop in, even if you’re not visiting the soft play. Walk-in customers can enjoy freshly made coffee, delicious bakes or lunch inside the coffee shop or in our courtyard at the back.
We will be serving brunch items like fresh fluffy pancake stacks, smoothie bowls, breakfast buns and sourdough delights! As well as an array of freshly baked croissants / pastries and bakes
We offer milk alternatives and some gluten-free options. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and cannot safely cater for severe or life-threatening allergies.
Yes, our soft play is booking only – via our booking system which we will provide the link to shortly on our socials and our website.
This provides a more relaxing environment and a chance to properly connect with your little ones and friends without it being overly full
There is a limit to the capacity of the soft play and once this is reached bookings will close.
All children remain the responsibility of the supervising adult and sensible adult to child ratios must be maintained
